Iceland is renowned for its otherworldly illuminations, the Northern Lights being one remarkable example. This particular phenomenon, also known as the Aurora Borealis, can be experienced in Iceland during the winter time, especially on those clear, crisp nights, where they appear in a variety of colours and intensity, either twirling gently in shades of milky green, or occasionally blazing in a wild and multi-coloured dance across the night sky.
There could be a good opportunity to see the Northern Lights on one or more nights during the tour. It's often enough to walk out and see them from outside of the hotel. The guide will inform you when there could be a good possibility to see this phenomenon. Northern Lights are visible from September through April and can be seen only on a clear night. The Northern Lights are natural phenomena so we cannot guarantee sight.

Assemble at Mumbai International Airport to board your Lufthansa / Finnair flight to Keflavik via Frankfurt/Helsinki. Arrive at Keflavik International airport and transfer to the hotel at Reykjavik, country’s capital and largest city on the coast of Iceland. The striking concrete Hallgrimskirkja Church and rotating Perlan glass dome offer sweeping views of the sea and nearby hills. After settling in and resting, leave for the Aurora (Northern Lights) Centre followed by Lave Show and an exciting Flyover Iceland ride.

GOLDEN CIRCLE - REYKJAVIK

After breakfast, proceed for the famous Golden Circle tour starting with the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Þingvellir National Park. It is a place of great beauty located on the biggest lake of Iceland (Silfra Lake) where the tectonic plates of North America and Euro Asia continent drifts apart each year.
Later continue the journey towards Geysir - home to the Littli Geyser & the great Strokkur Fountain Geyser which erupts about every 8 minutes. It truly is a sight to behold.
Followed by Geysir is the Gullfoss Waterfall, one of the most impressive waterfalls in Europe that falls in two folds. Later proceed to Freidheimar Tomato Farm and experience the Greenhouse farming using GeoThermal energy along with Tasting of world’s most unique Tomato Ice Cream & Tomato Cheesecake.

Today proceed towards the Capital of North of Iceland – Akureyri, for a long drive that passes through various landscapes and is one of the most scenic drives (390 kms – 5 hours). Enroute visit Glanni Waterfalls on the Norðurá river. Arrive Akureyri. Enjoy a stroll and walking orientation tour of Akureyri town covering the Church, Fjord waterfront, Akureyri Botanical garden and old town pedestrian street. Later check in hotel.

Today enjoy North Iceland's most famous Diamond Circle tour. First stop en route at Dettifoss, the most powerful waterfall and then Godafoss waterfall, the waterfall of the pagan gods. Then continue to the Lake Myvatn area to explore the wonders around the lake, Skutustadur pseudo craters, Dimmuborgir lava fields, Namaskard geothermal boiling mudpool and Krafia area. Evening relax at the Myvatn Nature Bath.

After light breakfast, depart for 2.5 hrs Whale Watching tour. Later continue towards Borgarnes. On the way, we make a photo-stop at Deildartunguvher Hot springs, it is the hottest spring in Europe where water erupts between 90 to 120 degree each second. Arrive and check in at the hotel.

Today morning, begin your journey towards Langjökull, the second largest glacier in Iceland. Visit the most picturesque waterfall “Hraunfossar & Barnafoss”. Later we continue towards – Into the Glacier Tour. On this tour you will drive in Monster Truck on the Langjokull Glacier and take a guided tour in a man-made cave inside the Glacier to see what the world beneath the Glacier is like. This is truly a once in a lifetime experience which you might not encounter anywhere else in your life.

Today leave for Vik in South Iceland. En route, visit the Black Sand beach, one of its only kind in the world. Later enjoy Skogafoss waterfall, where on a bright sunny day at least two rainbows are visible at a time. Then visit the very first location of Gerua fame waterfall – Seljalandsfoss, one of the most picturesque waterfall.

Today morning visit the Skaftafell National Park & Glacier lagoon Jökulsárlón, one of the most spectacular sights in Iceland. Enormous icebergs constantly break off the glacier into the lagoon, melting slowly as they drift towards the sea nearby. Enjoy a photo- stop and walk around the lagoon to enjoy this amazing landscape. Amphibian Boat Ride at the glacier lagoon. Opposite to the lagoon is the Diamond Beach with icebergs that look like diamonds.

VIK to REKJAVIK

Today we check out & proceed towards Reykjavik orientation tour, covering all sightseeing points such as Sun Voyager, Harpa concert house, City Hall, Parliament House, etc. The most famous landmark of the city is the Hallgrímskirkja Church. Visit the top tower of Church by lift to get breathtaking views of the entire city.
Afternoon proceed towards the famous Blue Lagoon. The Blue Lagoon is a unique sight where guests enjoy relaxing in warm geothermal water surrounded by magical black lava fields. The Blue Lagoon’s warm water and natural active ingredients; mineral salts, silica and blue green algae, help you relax and escape the stress and strain of daily life. Then we proceed towards Airport to board return flight back home or onwards destination.
